This 17-day Everest trek offers an adventurous and scenic route through the stunning Everest region, culminating in a visit to Everest Base Camp. The journey begins with an arrival in Kathmandu, followed by a flight to Lukla, where the trek to Phakding begins. Over the next several days, you'll trek through beautiful Sherpa villages, including Namche Bazaar, a vital trading hub in the region, before heading further into the mountains for acclimatization. As you continue, you'll reach Dole, Machhermo, and Gokyo, famous for its breathtaking lakes and the opportunity to hike Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. After spending time in Gokyo, you’ll cross the challenging Cho-la Pass, trekking to Dzongla, Lobuche, and finally Gorak Shep, where you will prepare for the iconic journey to Everest Base Camp. On Day 12, you'll stand at Everest Base Camp, soaking in the grandeur of the world’s highest peak before returning to Gorak Shep. The trek then descends, retracing the route through Pheriche, Namche Bazaar, and Lukla, before flying back to Kathmandu for your departure.
