Trip Overview

Lobuche East (6,119 m) stands sentinel above the Khumbu Glacier, offering one of the finest vantage points in the Everest region. Its narrow summit ridge presents an authentic mountaineering challenge with technical rock and mixed sections that demand solid climbing skills and head for heights.

The approach follows the classic Everest Base Camp route as far as Lobuche village, giving you the full Khumbu experience — prayer-flag-draped passes, Sherpa monasteries, and yak caravans — before splitting off for the technical climbing portion.

Our expert guides fix ropes on the crux sections of the climb and carry supplemental oxygen for emergencies. The 14-day itinerary is carefully designed to provide adequate acclimatisation while maximising your summit window during the stable Himalayan weather periods.
